AUCKLAND, Today: Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Cece Chu as a senior creative. She will be working across a number of the agency’s major creative accounts, with particular focus on Heineken, My Food Bag, The NZ Olympic Committee, and Toyota and Lexus.
Chu joins Saatchi & Saatchi from Stanley Street where she was a senior creative. Highlights from her time there include making Hollywood stuntwoman Zoë Bell perform her ‘most dangerous stunt ever’ in an award-winning campaign for Auckland Transport and giving KFC tvcs a full refresh, from brand to retail.
Prior to Stanley Street, she worked at Saatchi & Saatchi London on Toyota Europe, HSBC and UK supermarket ASDA.
She also worked at London agency Mr President, where she won a Cannes Young Lions Health Award and at Whybin\TBWA Auckland.
Toby Talbot – “Cece’s a massive addition to the department.”
Her global award wins include D&AD, Cannes, One Show, AWARD, Axis, Spikes Asia, AdStars, and Clios.
Chu said today: “I’m really excited to rejoin the Saatchi & Saatchi family. The agency has some awesome clients and a very strong vision for the future.
“Having worked with Toby before, I know what a great leader he is and am thrilled by the opportunity to join his talented team. Bring on 2020.”
Saatchi & Saatchi CCO Toby Talbot said: “Cece is a Swiss Army knife of talent – a writer, an art director, a dynamic thinker and a creative who really understands brands.
“She’s a massive addition to the department.”
