SYDNEY, Jan 1: New Zealand ad agencies in general – and DDB in particular – enjoyed extraordinary success at the 2019 global ad rankings compiled by Aussie site Campaign Brief’s annual Best Ads division.
NZ agencies were collectively ranked 5th in the world – headed by DDB, which the site cited (sorry) as ‘the #1 ad agency in the world’.
Overall, the Kiwis followed the USA, UK, Australia, and France – USA was a clear leader with 3537 points, followed by the UK on 3182 points and Australia on 2179.
New Zealand scored 1203 points, France was 6th on 1165, Canada 7th on 801, South Africa 8th on 747, the Netherlands 9th on 497, and Germany 10th on 477 points.
